Wait Time (per 15 minutes) Over Grace Period
Wait Time (per 15 minutes) over the grace period applies when a notary appointment extends beyond the included grace period due to delays. Nova Notary Online allows a generous grace period to accommodate normal delays. However, for extended wait times, this charge ensures our mobile notaries are compensated for their time while maintaining timely service for all clients.
When Does Wait Time Apply?
Each notary appointment includes a 10-minute grace period. If the signing party is not ready or documents are not prepared after this period, we apply a wait time fee in 15-minute increments. This charge allows us to continue offering reliable, professional, and on-time services throughout the day.
Typical scenarios that incur wait time charges:
- Signer not present at scheduled time
- Documents not fully prepared for signing
- Delays caused by third parties or unapproved changes
Transparent and Fair Pricing
- $XX per 15 minutes of wait time after the initial grace period
- Transparent billing has been added to your final service invoice
- Notified in real time when wait charges begin
- You’ll never be surprised by hidden fees
