At Nova Notary Online, our Cancellation / No-Show Fee Flat Fee applies when clients fail to attend scheduled appointments without advance notice. While we understand emergencies happen, our notary professionals reserve their time and travel based on confirmed bookings. This policy ensures fairness and allows us to serve other clients promptly.

Why the Cancellation / No-Show Fee Matters

Mobile notary services require travel, preparation, and coordination. When a signer does not show up or cancels last minute, it results in lost time and fuel costs. To maintain efficiency, a flat cancellation or no-show fee is assessed if appointments are not canceled at least 2 hours in advance.

This fee covers the following:

• Reserved time blocked for your session
• Travel expenses incurred up to 5 miles
• Opportunity costs due to the missed appointment
• Administrative rescheduling or follow-up time

We strongly encourage clients to communicate promptly if circumstances change. That way, we can reschedule without penalty and keep your notarization process moving smoothly.

When Is This Fee Charged?

This flat-rate fee will apply under the following conditions:

• You fail to appear within 15 minutes of the scheduled time
• No prior cancellation or notification has been received
• The appointment was canceled less than 2 hours in advance
